  • Analysis of previous exploration database confirms that wide-spaced drilling by other companies intersected strong gold values with significant silver, copper and zinc anomalies in altered volcanic rocks
  • Very high potential for concealed gold-silver-copper-zinc massive sulfide bodies
  • During 2007 preliminary surface exploration completed
  • Close proximity to coast, good access

For additional information please view the Callejones Fact Sheet or the Callejones Information Packet , which includes detailed project information and maps.

La Divina (Gold) - updated June 09
  • 900 hectare project in the gold-silver epithermal belt of northern Peru
  • Kilometric-scale colour anomaly marked by widespread argillic alteration and silicic veining of the low to intermediate sulfidation style
  • Strong gold and silver rock anomalies associated with quartz veins and stockworks
  • Previous exploration by one other company included rock sampling and limited drilling
  • Good potential remains for semi-concealed gold-silver bonanza-style mineralization
  • During 2007 preliminary surface exploration was completed by Alturas

For additional information please view the La Divina Fact Sheet or the La Divina Information Packet , which includes detailed project information and maps.

Copper-Gold Projects
Utupara & Chapi Chapi (Copper-Gold)

On February 28, 2008, the Company entered into an joint venture agreement with Minera IRL, a Peruvian company, whereby Alturas obtained an 80% interest in the Chapi Chapi property. The agreement essential doubles the Alturas' land holdings when combined with its adjacent Utupara project and the Company will consider Utupara - Chapi Chapi as a single project.

Chapi Chapi
  • 6,903 hectare property in southeastern Peru copper-gold belt that hosts world class deposits such as Tintaya, Los Chancas and Las Bambas
  • +3.0 x 2.0 kilometer copper-gold-molybdenum exo- and endoskarn system with possible porphyry potential
  • Within this system, distinct high grade mineralized NE-SW trends identified that are up to 3.00 x 0.25 kilometers in dimension
  • Copper-gold mineralization hosted in magnetite skarn along intrusive contacts and within steep structures cutting limestones
  • Alturas´s sampling of oxidized skarns confirms very high copper and gold grades over continuous sections of tens of meters
  • Large disseminated gold target recently recognized hosted by pyritized sandstones adjacent to skarns
  • High sulfidation epithermal gold target also present that requires further exploration
  • Results of surface exploration currently being compiled

For additional information please view the Chapi Chapi Fact Sheet or the Chapi Chapi Information Packet , which includes detailed project information and maps.

Utupara
  • 5,276 hectare property in southeastern Peru copper-gold belt that hosts world class deposits such as Tintaya, Los Chancas and Las Bambas
  • +4.0 x 4.0 kilometer porphyry-skarn system
  • Strong copper and gold geochemical anomaly over +2.5 x 2.5 kilometers
  • Mineralization: (i) disseminated copper-gold in porphyry/ breccia (ii) high grade copper-gold in skarn and (iii) high grade gold-silver in veins
  • Previously drilled by a local company , with best intercept 0.33% copper and 0.24 grams/tonne gold over 108 meters
  • Strong chargeability, resistivity, magnetic and geochemical anomalies
  • Alturas´s 5,000 meter first pass drilling completed in Q1 2008
  • Drilling in several cases cut long intervals of low grade copper-gold (up to 0.11 % copper, 0.12 grams/tonne gold over 248 meters)
  • Target model being revised, several anomalies remain untested beneath mineralized breccia

For additional information please view the Utupara Fact Sheet or the Utupara Information Packet, which includes detailed project information and maps.

Sombrero (copper-gold)
  • 3,800 hectare project in a poorly explored segment of the southern Peru belt that hosts world class copper-gold deposits such as Tintaya, Los Chancas and Las Bambas
  • Extensive copper-gold-molybdenum skarn systems in 11.0 x 3.5 kilometer belt
  • Alturas holds 80% of the mineralized belt
  • Previous small scale mining of copper oxide -bearing magnetite
  • Surface copper-gold-molybdenum geochemistry very encouraging
  • Ground geophysics (magnetics, induced polarization) completed in 2008
  • Geophysics confirms very high potential for concealed copper-gold-molybdenum skarns, as large geophysical anomalies were defined beneath the mineralized skarns

Pampa Colorada (copper-gold-iron)
  • 900 hectare project in the copper-gold-molybdenum porphyry belt of northern Peru
